Pyrenees Mountains

The principality of Andorra lies at the heart of the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain. It has 65,000 full time inhabitants with many working in the hospitality field with tourism being one of its major industries.
Andorra has 5 ski areas which are easily reached by the public ski bus network connecting “Andorra la Vella”, the capital with the ski areas. In a territory of only 468sq. Km, Andorra has 5 ski resorts with 279 km of slopes.
The ski resorts of Ordino-Arcalís, Pal-Arinsal, Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig and Soldeu el Tarter count on the most advanced technology with cable-cars, gondolas, high-speed chair lifts for 4 to 6 people and over 1210 snow cannons that ensure a good quality of snow during the whole of the winter season.
Andorra's privileged location in the middle of the Pyrenees ensures a cold enough weather in winter and a high number of sunny days during the whole year. The skiing season starts at the beginning of December and lasts until the end of April, that is an average of 150 days.
